- acted for the Electricity Authority in a challenge of its jurisdiction to seek more standardisation of distribution agreements in the electricity industry
- acted for General Electric International Inc in an appeal against a decision of the Registrar of Companies concerning an application for an exemption from financial reporting obligations
- acted for the Electricity Authority in an appeal and judicial review of the Authority's decision to dismiss complaints that Transpower breached the Code in changing aspects of the HVDC link
- acted for the Electricity Authority in an appeal against a decision of the Rulings Panel concerning the scope of its jurisdiction to hear disputes about the Code
- acted for the Electricity Authority in a judicial review by Trustpower about the consultation process for amending transmission pricing methodology
- acted for Zespri in a judicial review of the regulator's decision to decline an application for collaborative marketing approval
- acted for the Electricity Authority in three appeals against its decision that an “undesirable trading situation” (UTS) arose on 26 March 2011 and that remedial steps should be taken to correct that UTS (concerning the spot price of electricity for a 7 hour period that day)
- acted for the Electricity Authority in an appeal and judicial review of an exemption notice issued in respect of an overpayment
- acted for the Electricity Commission in the judicial review of its decision to approve the North Island Grid Upgrade
- acted for Wellington International Airport Limited in a judicial review about its setting of landing charges
- acted for a bus company in its challenge of ARTA’s decisions to decline registration of proposed commercial bus services.
